THE BRAWN & BRAINS COFFEE JOURNEY
Founded in 2013, Brawn & Brains Coffee is a local coffee roaster, bakery, café, wholesaler, and retailer situated in Singapore. Initially, in August 2013, it operated as a small coffee shop of under 350 square feet. Our primary focus has always been to source high-quality green coffee and provide freshly roasted coffee, deliciously baked pastries, and simple yet hearty sandwiches to our customers. Our journey extended beyond our modest coffee shop when, in August 2017, we participated in the Singapore Coffee Festival. During this event, we showcased a selection of our in-house roasted filter coffee and BB Coffee Beer, brewed in collaboration with Rye & Pint Brewery, a local craft beer producer. A pivotal moment occurred in 2018 when we transitioned our micro coffee roaster into a fully operational coffee roastery in Bedok North, which is now completely certified by the Singapore Food Agency for the wholesale distribution of roasted coffee beans. That same year, we opened our second café at 218 East Coast Road. In 2019, we were honored to receive the Bronze award at the Australian International Coffee Awards, followed by a Silver award in 2020. By 2022, we expanded further with a new branch at 16 Hamilton Road and BB Bakery at 673 Geylang Road. Each location reflects the essence of Brawn & Brains Coffee—offering excellent coffee, quality food, and exceptional service where friends and family can gather and enjoy their time together.
